W.W. Williams is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and diagnose routine maintenance and emergency services on heavy-duty trucks. You will work with a team to ensure repairs are performed safely and meet customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes accurate paperwork, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to create repair plans based on diagnoses. Proficiency with MS Office is expected, and candidates with 3+ years of diesel experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Our ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3+ years of diesel repair and maintenance experience in a heavy truck/fleet dealership or shop environment.
• Strong working knowledge of multiple systems (e.g., A/C, brake, emission, air), diagnostics, and troubleshooting diesel engines.
• Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality repairs and maintenance on Diesel Engines/Heavy Duty Trucks as specified in manufacturer-designed procedures.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork (e.g., repair information on work orders, information for state and emission inspections) in a timely manner.
• Diagnose failure of vehicles by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts.
• Dedication and adherence to all Company and industry safety standards.
• Inspecting vital parts to ensure they are in proper operating conditions.
• Create a job repair plan based on diagnosis.
