Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Green Bay, WI on second shift (12:00 pm – 8:30 pm) with a $28.00 hourly wage and strong benefits. The role focuses on heavy-duty diesel vehicle maintenance using state-of-the-art diagnostics and tools, with a comprehensive benefits package starting after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or Technical Certification or Post Secondary degree preferred
• Basic tools are required
• Two+ years of related experience or training in mechanical repair
• Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools
• Identifies root cause and performs repairs as required
• Replaces defective components as instructed
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint
• Adheres to safety and DOT guidelines
• Supports operations with additional duties as needed
