Job summary

Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment in Clinton, MD is seeking a Diesel Technician for our truck shop. You’ll work on heavy‑duty trucks and equipment, performing maintenance and repairs with a focus on quality workmanship.

We offer hourly pay from $29 to $34 based on skill, no flat-rate pay, a $1,000 annual tool allowance, and a Monday–Friday schedule. Excellent benefits include PTO, holidays, and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• Hands-on diesel experience required.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and brakes.
• Valid driver’s license; Class A or B CDL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance including fluids, services, lubrication, and brake work.
• Repair hydraulic, electrical, and drivetrain systems.
• Document repairs and communicate with the Service Manager.
