Job summary

Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment in Clinton, MD seeks a Diesel Mechanic to service heavy-duty trucks and equipment in our Clinton shop. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain engines, hydraulics, drivetrains, and electrical systems while following safety procedures.

We're offering $29-$34 per hour, no flat-rate pay, Monday–Friday hours, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, holidays, medical coverage, and a 401(k) plan with company match. Own tools required; CDL a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on diesel experience with heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot engine, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and brake/suspension work.
• Document repairs and communicate with Service Manager.
• Continue developing skills through manufacturer training.
