Cogent Analytics is seeking a Heavy‑Duty Diesel Service Shop Lead to manage a satellite repair facility focused on front‑loaded cement mixers and tri‑axle trucks. The role emphasizes hands‑on leadership, diagnosing repair needs, and guiding two technicians to complete service orders efficiently.

You will oversee daily shop operations, monitor productivity, ensure quality, and coordinate parts and inventory while using Cummins and PACCAR diagnostic systems, Snap‑on, and JPRO tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy‑duty diesel repair with diagnostic ability.
• Leadership or shop management experience preferred.
• Familiarity with OEM diagnostic tools and software (Cummins, PACCAR).
• Proficiency with Snap-on, JPRO or equivalent diagnostics.
• Valid Class A license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of the satellite shop with two technicians.
• Diagnose repair needs and assist technicians with service orders.
• Coordinate shop schedule and workflow for efficiency.
• Monitor productivity and ensure quality standards and timely service.
• Maintain tools/inventory and order parts as needed.
• Communicate performance and updates with leadership.
