Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of heavy civil estimating experience required.
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills.
• Ability to perform accurate project take-offs and estimates.
• Excellent verbal communication with owners and project engineers.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret drawings and specifications for bids.
• Solicit quotes from subcontractors and suppliers; bid 95% complete before review.
• Prepare rough project schedule to determine time frames.
• Review estimates with superintendents to finalize bids.
• Enter detailed data into HCSS HeavyBid software.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
