Job summary

The Michels Corporation seeks an experienced Alternative Delivery Manager to lead heavy civil projects in a collaborative delivery model. You will oversee all phases from business development through contract and design management, ensuring safety, quality and schedule alignment.

Ideal candidates hold a civil engineering or construction management degree with 10+ years in heavy civil, up to 50% travel, and strong client relations. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, with 10+ years of construction management experience.
• Heavy Civil construction experience including underground utilities, foundations, mass & finish grading.
• Experience with alternative delivery projects (design-build, EPC) and strong client relationships.
• Travel up to 50% depending on project requirements.
• Proven leadership roles in project delivery and pursuits.
• Experience with scheduling, estimating, and project controls software; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and management for all phases of alternative delivery projects.
• Involve in business development, teaming, pursuits & proposals, and contract/design management.
• Communicate effectively with internal Michels teams and external partner and client teams.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to schedule and budget.
