Job summary

The Michels Preconstruction Services, Inc. team seeks an Alternative Delivery Manager- Heavy Civil Construction to direct all phases of collaborative delivery projects.

You will lead business development, pursuits, proposals, and contract/design management while coordinating with internal teams and external partners. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in construction management for heavy civil work, experience with alternative delivery models, and strong leadership, communication, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering; 10+ years of construction management experience
• Experience in Heavy Civil Construction including underground utilities, foundations, mass and finish grading
• Experience in alternative delivery projects (design-build, EPC)
• Travel requirements may exceed 50% depending on assignment and project requirements
• Experience in key project leadership roles
• Experience in client management on project pursuits and delivery
• Understanding of scheduling, estimating and project controls software
• Valid driver's license for the type of vehicles driven and acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and management for all phases of alternative/collaborative delivery projects
• Involve in business development, teaming, pursuits & proposals, and contract/design management
• Communicate effectively with internal Michels teams and external partner and client teams
• Lead and guide design-build pursuits and project delivery
• Prioritize safety, quality, and client satisfaction
