Job summary

Michels Preconstruction Services, Inc. is seeking an Alternative Delivery Manager to lead all phases of alternative/collaborative delivery projects.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet client needs and pursue proposals with a focus on quality and safety. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction or civil engineering, 5+ years of project management experience, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of project management or construction management experience.
• Experience in transportation engineering or transportation construction projects.
• Experience with alternative delivery methods (design-build, CMGC, progressive design-build).
• Travel up to 50% depending on assignment and project requirements.
• Strong client management and leadership capabilities.
• Experience with win strategies, pricing and project scheduling.
• Experience in technical writing.
• Understanding of Scheduling, Estimating and Project Controls Software.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and management for all phases of alternative/collaborative delivery projects.
• Involvement in business development, teaming, pursuits & proposals, and contract and design management.
• Coordinate internal Michels teams and external partner and client teams to meet client expectations.
• Communicate effectively, multitask, and make informed decisions under tight deadlines.
