Job summary

Senneca is seeking reliable individuals for 1st shift in Mankato, MN. The role focuses on building and assembling products in a non-welding heavy metal fabrication environment, following blueprints and ensuring quality.

Candidates should have basic manufacturing experience, read blueprints, and be comfortable with hand tools. The position offers steady daytime hours with some overtime and opportunities to grow skills in assembly and fabrication.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of manufacturing or hands-on work experience preferred.
• Comfortable using hand tools, tape measures, and reading blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to learn and cross-train. Good communication and teamwork skills.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble products using hand tools and detailed instructions.
• Read blueprints and follow measurements to ensure quality.
• Support production in areas like assembly, fabrication, and finishing.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
• Follow job tracking and quality standards to get it right the first time.
• Learn materials, processes, and equipment to grow your skills.
• Work as part of a team to keep production moving efficiently.
• Take on additional tasks as needed to support the operation.

Spots on our 1st Shift are Available!

Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Some overtime available on Fridays (40+ hours)

Primary Area: Non-Welding Heavy Metal Fabrication (i.e., Heavy Assembly)

Other Areas as needed: Pre-Fab (Laser Operator, Brake Press), Prime/Prep, Final Assembly

Physical Requirements
