Mohawk Industries, a global flooring leader and Fortune 500 company, is seeking a production operator to safely operate heatset machinery and contribute to quality, production, and efficiency goals. The role involves threading, winding, and routine quality checks in a fast-paced, industrial setting.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and prior yarn/manufacturing experience, with a willingness to perform training, housekeeping, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• On-the-job and safety training certifications completed.
• Previous Yarn or Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain efficiency and meet production standards by threading and repairing breakouts.
• Proactively identify yarn quality during production runs.
• Select and stage tubes for winder operation.
• Doff finished yarn packages as required.
• Maintain daily production records.
• Run creeling and winding sides when needed.
• Use black light to check for mixes.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform general housekeeping as required.
• Complete tasks assigned by management.
