Mohawk Industries, Inc. in Alabama seeks a SUPERBA OPERATOR - B Shift to safely operate heatset machinery, meeting quality, production, and efficiency goals. You’ll contribute to yarn finishing, manage creeling and winding tasks, and support safety practices in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires attention to yarn quality, adherence to SOPs, and participation in training, with responsibilities spanning housekeeping and routine equipment checks.

• Describe the education, knowledge required, years of experience, specific skills and abilities required to do the job on a fully competent basis.

Responsabilités

• Threads and repairs breakouts to maintain efficiency and meet production standards
• Proactively identifies yarn quality during production runs
• Selects and stages tubes for winder operation
• Doffs off finished yarn packages as required
• Run both creeling and winding side when needed
• Uses black light to check there are no mixes
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating and safety procedures as well as company policies
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management
