Job summary

Fireside Hearth & Home is hiring Retail Sales Associates for its Maple Grove and Eden Prairie locations in Minnesota. You will drive sales by helping customers select hearth products, services, and accessories, delivering best-in-class experiences, and turning interactions into completed projects.

We offer a pay structure that includes base hourly rate plus incentives, with the incentive component uncapped.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience.
• High School Diploma required or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in sales, business administration, or marketing preferred).
• Able to work evenings and weekends, with limited time off between Labor Day and New Years.
• Driven, energetic sales professional with strong commitment to customers.
• Ability to learn quickly and retain information.
• Strong sense of interior design (preferred).
• Experience in residential construction, building materials, appliance installation or retail is highly desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales goals by utilizing dynamic sales skills within the retail sales process.
• Exceed customer expectations through remodel process steps from needs assessment to timelines.
• Systematically manage all customer sales to project completion, including quotes, orders, previews, installations and start ups.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and follow up diligently.
• Participate in a comprehensive 3-month training program to become a Hearth Expert.
• Collect and process payments from customers and balance daily business.
• Answer showroom calls and provide basic showroom maintenance and merchandising.
• Complete inventory management and receiving in/out product.
• Assist in training newer Retail Sales Reps.
• Other duties as assigned.
