Qualifications

• Infusion scheduling experience in healthcare setting required

• Knowledge of body mechanics and safety measures
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare databases required
• Strong ability to interface with physicians, staff, patients and vendors
• Solid understanding of medical insurance procedures

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient procedure and surgical schedules; manage complex multi-appointment cases
• Assist with insurance verification and authorization processes
• Schedule pre-procedure tests and clearances, create itineraries, maintain patient charts and data entry
• Provide clerical support, patient registration and master schedule coordination
• Interact with patients in a high-volume environment and ensure accuracy of records
