Job summary

ChristianaCare's Heart Failure Unit (5E) in Newark, DE seeks a Registered Nurse to join a 36-bed post-critical care cardiac team. The role offers full-time day and night shifts with rotating 7A-7P and 7P-7A, 72 hours per pay, weekends/holidays as required.

You will care for high-acuity cardiac patients, including post-operative open-heart and LVAD patients, performing advanced assessments and continuous hemodynamic monitoring.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire.
• At least one year of RN experience required.
• Delaware RN licensure or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care with advanced assessment and monitoring.
• Perform continuous hemodynamic and cardiac monitoring.
• Administer medications and educate patients.
• Detect changes in patient condition early.
• Care for post‑operative open‑heart/LVAD patients as needed.
