Job summary

Your Talent Team is seeking a Cardiologist specializing in heart failure for a full-time, permanent role in Indiana. The position offers a base salary of $550,000–$650,000+ with wRVU incentives, negotiable sign-on, relocation support, and robust benefits.

You will lead inpatient/outpatient care, manage advanced heart failure therapies, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to program development and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Disease fellowship.
• Fellowship training or specialized clinical focus in Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology.
• Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease; BC/BE in Advanced Heart Failure.
• Active or eligible for state medical license, DEA, and state controlled substance registrations.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient & Outpatient Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive heart failure management across inpatient consult services and outpatient heart failure clinic settings.
• Advanced Heart Failure Management: Diagnose and treat complex cardiomyopathies and advanced stage heart failure using guideline-directed medical therapy and modern clinical protocols.
• Remote Monitoring & Outpatient Therapies: Manage outpatient IV diuretic administration and utilize remote hemodynamic monitoring technologies to adjust treatment plans.
• Diagnostic & Invasive Procedures: Perform echocardiography, nuclear imaging, and diagnostic right heart catheterizations.
• Clinical Team Leadership: Oversee Heart Failure Advanced Practice Providers within a collaborative practice model.
• Subspecialty & Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with Structural Heart, EP, Rehab, Palliative Care, Dietitians, Social Work.
• Program Development & Quality Directives: Lead initiatives focused on readmission reduction, GDMT optimization, and quality metrics.
• Referral Network Engagement: Collaborate with general cardiologists, PCPs, and hospitalists to streamline pathways.

Education
