Job summary

Qualifications

Completion of the Department of Labor Apprenticeship Program for Hearing Aid Specialists
Two academic years of college with coursework related to hearing science, anatomy/physiology, hearing instrument science, gerontology, psychology or healthcare
License/registration to practice as a HIS in a state, territory, or DC
Active NBC-HIS board certification required

Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect patient care across audiology clinical and patient-care areas
Assist audiologists with evaluation and treatment preparation
Support face-to-face and telehealth encounters and hearing aid delivery/maintenance
