Job summary

Sonova Group is looking for a Patient Care Coordinator in East Patchogue, NY, to ensure quality patient care and collaboration with clinical staff. The Coordinator will greet patients, maintain files, manage appointments, and provide first-level support. A high school diploma and customer service experience are required.

The position offers $22.00-24.00 an hour, a 401K, free hearing aids for employees, and no night or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a health care environment is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience is required.
• Prior experience or knowledge with hearing aids is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a positive and professional attitude.
• Collect patient intake forms and maintain patient files/notes.
• Provide first level support to patients and process payments.
• Assist with event planning and logistics for community outreach.

Skills

Professional verbal and written communication

Strong relationship building skills

Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
