The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services seeks a Healthy Aging Specialist to lead statewide wellness initiatives funded by the Older Americans Act. You will oversee Title III‑D programs, assist Senior Farmers Market Nutrition activities, and coordinate with aging partners to implement quality improvements.

This role emphasizes policy interpretation, data-driven planning, and stakeholder engagement across the Aging Services Division, with a hybrid work option in Wake County, NC.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in a related discipline with two years of related experience, or Bachelor's with four years.
• Experience analyzing data to support policy decisions.
• Experience performing compliance and quality‑assurance evaluations.
• Strong written and oral communication tailored to community partners and public audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Manage Title III-D health promotion and disease prevention programs.
• Develop and interpret program standards, policies, procedures, and service requirements.
• Review health promotion policies and service standards to align with objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate statewide data to identify underserved and economically vulnerable populations.
• Collaborate with Area Agencies on Aging, providers, and partners to support program delivery.
