Job summary

STEP, Inc. centers seek energetic Coordinators to lead wellness programs and connect older adults with activities that promote independence and social engagement.

You will coordinate nutrition services, including congregate meals and Meals on Wheels, while ensuring a welcoming, safe environment for all participants. The role offers flexibility across three positions: full-time at Lock Haven, PA; part-time at Mill Hall, PA; and a floating, travel-based Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health, Fitness, Recreation or Exercise, or related field with experience.
• Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certification within initial employment period.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead a variety of wellness programs, activities, and nutrition-related services for older adults.
• Coordinate nutrition services, including congregate meals and Meals on Wheels, in a welcoming environment.
• Foster social connections and safe, engaging experiences for participants.
• Support program coverage across Centers for Healthy Aging as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Health, Fitness, Recreation or Exercise

First Aid/CPR certification (required within initial employment period)
