Lifesteps in Butler, PA is seeking a Part-Time Activities (Resident Engagement) Coordinator for Seniors in the Butler area. The role focuses on planning and coordinating therapeutic activities for Adult Day Health Services participants, providing direct client care, and supporting staff in service delivery.

The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm (27.5 hours weekly), with no evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Recreational Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or related field OR
• Two years’ experience in the human services field working with aging and functionally disabled adults.
• Must possess a valid driver's license which legally permits operating a motor vehicle in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate therapeutic activities to meet participants’ needs and preferences; provide direct client care and observe/report performance.
• Assist staff with service delivery and assume Supervisor responsibilities in the Supervisor’s absence.

Position Summary:

The Resident Engagement Coordinator, ADHS is responsible for planning and coordinating therapeutic activities that meet Adult Day Health Services participants’ needs and preferences. The Activities Coordinator, ADHS provides direct client care, observes and reports participants’ performance, assists staff with various aspects of service and delivery and assumes the responsibilities of the Supervisor in the Supervisor’s absence.

This part‑time position works a schedule of Monday - Friday, 27.5 hours per week 12:00pm - 6:00pm. No Evenings, No weekends. No Holidays!
