Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience.
• Ten or more years of related work experience.
• Ability to lead a team, set goals and KPIs.
• Strong knowledge of intellectual property, university tech transfer and licensing.
• Knowledge of equity management and stock issuance contracts.

Responsibilities

• Define direction of commercialization and startup development strategies.
• Lead goal setting and KPI development for the function.
• Develop licensing strategies and deal valuations to support term sheets.
• Coordinate with researchers and stakeholders to close deals.
• Manage campus equity policy and stock issuance for new startups.
