Job summary

AirStrip Technologies is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to join the Shared Services group. The successful candidate will draft and negotiate complex agreements in healthcare IT, including software licensing, SaaS and services agreements.

Responsibilities include managing technology transactions end-to-end, improving contract management policies, and ensuring HIPAA privacy and security compliance in collaboration with the Privacy Officer and Legal Department.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Licensed to practice law in one or more U.S. states.
• At least 10 years of law firm and/or corporate legal department experience.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements in healthcare IT and HIT environments.
• Experience with HIPAA privacy and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate complex agreements, including commercial, software licensing, SaaS and services agreements.
• Manage complex technology transactions from inception to closure.
• Oversee and improve the company’s contract management policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with procurement and contracting policies, with training for business teams.
• Collaborate with Privacy Officer and Legal Department to meet HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
• Move transactions to closure in collaboration with business teams.
