Job summary

Vizient is seeking a Data & Value Analysis Specialist to support the Value Analysis program by analyzing clinical, operational, financial, and supply chain data to identify opportunities for standardization and cost optimization.

You will collaborate with clinical, supply chain, and finance teams on product evaluations, technology assessments, and implementation of approved initiatives, leveraging evidence-based research and AI tools to improve patient safety and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing clinical, financial, operational, or supply chain data in healthcare.
• Advanced Excel and Office suite skills for dashboards and reports.
• Strong communication and collaboration across functions; attention to data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clinical, financial, utilization, quality and supply chain data to identify cost savings and standardization opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, reports, scorecards, and analyses to support Value Analysis initiatives and decision-making.
• Track cost savings, utilization trends, implementation progress, and initiative outcomes with accurate databases.
• Support product evaluations, technology assessments, RFPs, and new product reviews.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to manage back orders, discontinuations, recalls, and continuity of supply.
• Conduct evidence-based research using literature and market data to inform recommendations.
• Prepare presentations and materials for Value Analysis committees and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate to coordinate information requests and implement approved standardization initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, improve workflows, and enhance data quality.
• Monitor healthcare supply chain trends and emerging technologies; evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy.
