Job summary

Neighborhood Healthcare is seeking a Transportation Supervisor for its PACE program to oversee schedules, drivers, and partners, ensuring safe, timely transport for participants and enrollees. This onsite role is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, and requires valid California driver's license, safety training, and strong coordination skills.

You will monitor invoices, maintain records, support care planning with the Interdisciplinary Team, and help improve policies to deliver high-quality transportation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of passenger transportation experience required.
• Valid California driver’s license required; CDL preferred.
• Must complete defensive driving, passenger assistance, and safety training.
• BLS certification required; CPR and First Aid for all PACE employees.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates transportation workflows, schedules, and activities for drivers, aides, and PACE.
• Oversees coordination with internal and external transportation partners to ensure timely, safe transport.
• Reviews invoices for services by contractors and identifies cost savings.
• Maintains program records and ensures policies and procedures are followed.
• Participates in Interdisciplinary Team care planning and communicates changes in participant conditions.
• Coordinates with staff, participants, and caregivers to schedule advance transportation.
• Documents late arrivals and cancellations; ensures proper coverage.
• Ensures vehicles are maintained in safety compliance, with proper permits and registrations.
• Maintains day-to-day records and provides reports to the manager.
• Resolves service problems and communicates concerns to management.
