Job summary

Phelps Health in Rolla, Missouri is seeking a Training & Development Specialist to design, deliver, and manage education programs across departments. You will create educational materials, develop company-wide eLearning, and support BLS provider training with hands-on and video-based content.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong Microsoft Office skills, experience with Articulate 360, and a track record in healthcare settings. Some travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Public Relations, Education or Business.
• Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge including PowerPoint and Excel.
• Knowledge & experience in Adobe programs.
• Knowledge of Articulate 360 software preferred.
• One year in an instructor/trainer role required.
• Three years of healthcare environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, compiles, produces and delivers educational materials for department programs and service excellence workshops.
• Designs, develops and maintains eLearning courses company-wide.
• Manages the Community Line by registering employees and community members for classes.
• Facilitates education programs ensuring content matches objectives and values.
• Facilitates BLS Healthcare Provider courses and skills checks.
• Produces video presentations for eLearning from live training sessions.
• Assists with computer-based learning system, including adding, deleting, or updating modules.
• Monitors course completion and inputs education information into the system.
• Communicates system changes to management and staff as required.
