Job summary

Epic, based on our Madison, WI campus with relocation support, seeks a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff while shaping their Epic transition experience. You will design training materials, scenarios, and workflows, collaborating with teams to enhance usability of our software.

You will travel 25-60% of working days, deliver engaging sessions, and work closely with staff and care providers to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or greater (any major).
Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with typical months including 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days.
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users, as well as our staff.
Shape trainee experience as they transition to Epic and assist them in saving lives.
Design training workflows, materials, and scenarios from start to finish and deliver them.
Collaborate with organizations to develop training and contribute to projects improving Epic software usability.
