Job summary

HRCap, Inc. is seeking an analytical Systems Analyst to bridge clinical users, business operations, and software engineering. You will map workflows, document configurations, and translate needs into technical specs to improve patient care delivery.

You will collaborate across clinical operations, backend engineering, and data security, supporting integration testing and production diagnostics. Bachelor’s degree and up to 2 years’ experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in systems analysis, internships, capstone projects, or IT support within a corporate setting.
• Solid proficiency in writing SQL queries to extract and analyze data from relational databases.
• Familiarity with diagramming tools to construct data-flow diagrams, system architecture schemas, and UML models.
• Basic understanding of HIPAA and data interoperability protocols (HL7, FHIR) is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to explain technical constraints to clinicians and vice versa.

Responsibilities

• Document current clinical workflows and system configurations to identify friction points and gaps.
• Translate clinical needs into detailed technical specifications and data flow diagrams for development teams.
• Map data exchanges between healthcare systems and support HL7/FHIR integrations.
• Develop system test scripts and participate in User Acceptance Testing to ensure features meet specifications.
• Assist in diagnosing escalated integration issues and coordinate with engineering for permanent fixes.
