Job summary

Johns Hopkins Health System is seeking a Supply Chain Intern for a 40-hour-per-week, temporary position in Baltimore. The intern will work in the Supply Chain department and collaborate with senior leadership and staff across clinical and non-clinical areas to support operations and project implementations.

The role focuses on planning and development of assigned projects, facilitating process improvements, and supporting transactional processes within the department.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in coursework toward a degree in business administration, finance, health care administration, management, engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, development and implementation of assigned projects to support the operations of the department.
• Assist with execution of transactional processes, performance improvement and change management projects for assigned department.
• Develop and coordinate departmental protocols and procedures in conjunction with department head and management staff.
• Support the administrative team with various projects and tasks as needed.

Education

High School Diploma/GED

Bachelor's Degree in business administration, finance, health care administration, management, engineering or related field
