The Sourcing Specialist I will collaborate with the Divisions of Analytics and Value Analysis within the JHHS Supply Chain Department. Area specific responsibilities may include reviewing buy vs. lease analysis and conducting total cost of ownership reviews (e.g., cost of consumables and service agreements should be reviewed in the capital purchase process). This position will be responsible for drafting contracts in coordination with JHHS Supply Chain Department Contract Managers and the JHHS Legal Department. The process of sourcing clinical products, non-clinical items and purchased services, and capital equipment and related services will align with the vision for the future of Supply Chain, “sourcing the best quality products at the best price, treating customers with service orientation and focusing on supply chain excellence internally.”
Applicants must have at least three years of work experience or residency/externship experience in Supply Chain or healthcare related field. OR applicants with a Master’s Degree (MBA, MPH, MHA) must have at least one year of work experience in Supply Chain or healthcare related field.
Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Public Health, Hospital Administration or related business/finance areas. Master’s Degree preferred. Additional experience may be substituted for education.
Minimum 41.00/hour - Maximum 65.60/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
