Brown University Health is seeking Distribution Technicians to support the supply chain for care areas across Brown University Health facilities. Responsibilities include stocking, ordering, delivering, and inventory control to ensure uninterrupted equipment and supplies.

You will operate electric pallet jacks and reach trucks, follow policies, and interact with suppliers and internal departments. Qualification includes a high school diploma or equivalent, plus the ability to work independently

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent required or greater than five years relevant experience.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in daily duties.
• Strong interpersonal skills to represent Brown University Health and Supply Chain.
• Ability to operate distribution equipment including electric pallet jacks and reach trucks.
• Ability to read instruction manuals and follow procedures.
• Mechanical ability to perform minor equipment adjustments.
• Numerical and clerical ability to check gauges, read charts and prepare records.
• Driving requires a good driving record and valid license per policy.

Aufgaben

• Maintains quality assurance and standards per policies and objectives.
• Ensures uninterrupted supply of equipment and supplies for Supply Chain Operations.
• Performs counting, organizing, ordering, delivery, picking, packing, put away, inspection, and receiving tasks.
• Maintains stock in assigned areas, shelves, bins, and labels.
• Orders by par levels, reorder points, and FIFO where applicable.
• Implements inventory management and recalls processes as needed.
• Receives material via packing slips or POs and records accurately.
• Delivers orders within Brown University Health locations and unloads supplies.
• Replenishes patient care area stock and interfaces with suppliers.
