Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group in Worcester, MA, is seeking motivated college students for its Summer Internship Program in the Claims Medical Strategy team. The 10-week internship runs June through mid-August and offers hands-on projects, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver meaningful business impact.

As an intern you will support the Business Analyst group, develop tools, analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to management.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or advanced degree program.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Ability to commit to a full-time 10-week internship program.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Marketing, sales, or customer service background preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates initiative, creativity and analytical skills.
• Thinks critically and develops solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support the Medical Strategy Business Analyst group within our Claims Department.
• Develop tools, processes and reporting analytics to support business growth and needs.
• Collect, analyze, and report data to meet customer needs.
• Communicate with customers, external partners and internal departments frequently.
• Create and present a final presentation for management and leadership at program close.
