Job summary

Harboroaks is seeking a Staffing Scheduler to organize and prepare work schedules for nursing units in Conway, AR. You will monitor census, staffing needs, admissions/discharges, and arrange coverage to ensure quality patient care.

The role requires experience with automated scheduling platforms, healthcare scheduling, and proficiency in Word/Excel. Collaboration with HR/payroll and attendance at leadership meetings is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with automated scheduling platforms required.
• Experience in healthcare scheduling preferred.
• Microsoft Word and Excel software knowledge and experience required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor census, staffing, scheduled admissions and discharges to ensure staff coverage.
• Prepare monthly staffing schedule and communicate issues to staff.
• Amend staffing schedule to provide quality patient care.
• Find coverage for time-off requests and call-outs.
• Track absenteeism and distribute reports to leaders.
• Coordinate staffing for program transports as needed.
• Provide administrative support as needed.
• Calculate lateness, Daily FTE and weekend shift reports bi-weekly.
• Collect and compute time clock adjustment forms and punch reports.
• Work with HR and payroll to resolve paycheck issues.
• Attend staffing and nursing leadership meetings.
