Job summary

Encino Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to support staffing and scheduling across departments in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will partner with the Chief Nursing Officer and department leaders to align staffing with patient needs and policy timelines.

The role requires MS Office proficiency, strong interpersonal skills, and healthcare experience. You will help optimize staffing, post schedules, and monitor agency usage to control costs and improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications required.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills required.
• Experience in healthcare preferred, preferably in an acute care setting.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide staffing and scheduling support for assigned departments.
• Collaborate with CNO and Department Leadership to create and revise schedules.
• Post schedules on time according to policy or CBA.
• Forecast staffing needs to prevent emergencies.
• Update and reconcile agency staffing through VMS and ensure compliance files.
• Work with Finance to reconcile VMS invoices and reduce agency usage.
