Medical Facilities Of America, Inc. is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to organize and maintain staff coverage for patient care departments, collaborating with nursing leadership and HR to ensure adequate coverage and smooth operations.

You will prepare four-week schedules, monitor daily coverage, and coordinate time-off requests while maintaining strong interdepartmental relationships and using scheduling software and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Experience as Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler in healthcare is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Strong ability to coordinate people and resources in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain four-week staff schedules for patient care units.
• Monitor schedules daily and secure replacements for coverage gaps.
• Keep electronic scheduling system up to date reflecting staffing changes.
• Verify attendance and report absences or tardiness to HR.
• Coordinate time-off requests to ensure proper nursing coverage.
• Build good working rapport with interdepartmental teams.
