Centennial Post Acute in Anchorage, AK is seeking a dedicated Staffing Coordinator to ensure consistent nursing schedules and support recruitment efforts, directly impacting resident care.

You will develop monthly schedules, track attendance, collaborate with HR and DNS, assist with sourcing and onboarding, and guide staff through scheduling forms. This role emphasizes accuracy, discretion, and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in scheduling or staffing coordination; healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and HR systems; Veras experience a plus.
• Detail-oriented with discretion handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly nursing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Track and update daily attendance, tardiness and absenteeism.
• Notify DNS about excessive absences per policy.
• Collaborate with HR and DNS to schedule modified-duty staff.
• Support recruitment by assisting with candidate sourcing, interviewing, onboarding.
• Guide staff in completing scheduling-related forms.
• Finalize and post staff schedules promptly.
• Assist with reports and documentation according to policies.
• Perform other staffing and recruitment tasks as needed.
