Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) in Lexington, KY, is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to manage and oversee schedules for clinical employees within Nursing Administration. The role supports the CNO and Nursing Managers in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The position requires confidentiality, strong computer skills, and prior Kronos experience; duties include timekeeping audits, scheduling, and coordinating time-off requests to ensure 4-week draft and 2-week final postings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of related experience preferred.
• Computer experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee schedules for clinical employees and provide clerical support to Nursing Administration.
• Audit Kronos time reporting and ensure forms are signed by Nurse Manager, CNO, and CFO.
• Coordinate time off requests and communicate approvals/denials to staff.
• Maintain vacation and on-call schedules and ensure staffing is adequate.
• Post the draft schedule 4 weeks prior and final schedule 2 weeks prior to implementation.
