Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced Space Planning Manager to oversee space allocations across campuses, aligning with AHN and Highmark Health strategic goals.

You will direct internal architects, engineers, and consultants, coordinate with executive leaders, and liaise with city officials, DOH, and HIPAA policies, focusing on long-term campus planning, standards, and efficient resource use.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in healthcare planning or a related field.
• Bachelor's in Architecture or Interior Design; PA licensure preferred.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office; familiarity with CAD/BIM tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day department operations; develop policies and programs.
• Develop and maintain space programs in conjunction with AHN leadership.
• Develop scope of work documents, space programs and preliminary test fits.
• Support Real estate team in feasibility studies, consolidations, and business agreements.
• Analyze internal project goals, conceive and develop architectural concepts/solutions.
• Further develop and maintain space planning standards.
• Maintain internal architectural specs and standard project deliverables.
