Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a senior Facilities Manager to direct and supervise hospital facilities operations, ensuring safe building systems and grounds. You will manage budgeting, staffing, and policy execution while aligning with regulatory requirements and emergency preparedness.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in facilities management within healthcare or regulated environments, plus strong leadership and problem-solving skills. This is an on-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• 7 years’ facilities management experience or related engineering.
• 3 years’ supervisory experience.
• Experience solving problems in pressure situations; strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with local, state, federal compliance requirements of utility and safety systems in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient functioning, maintenance and operation of campus facilities and systems.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and regulatory agencies.
• Direct and coordinate facility efforts during emergencies per disaster plans and test emergency systems.
• Oversee budgets, staffing, planning, policy, procedures, training for Facilities department, skilled trades’, contractors, maintenance and repair programs and energy management.
• Collaborate with project management team to plan new construction projects; monitor construction for cost effectiveness, codes and timeliness.
