Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a seasoned space planning leader to manage allocations aligned with long‑term campus goals. You will develop space programs and fit plans, directing internal architects, engineers, and consultants, sharing results with administration and AHN executives.

With 10–15 years in healthcare planning, you will coordinate with city officials and DOH reps, ensuring standards and project deliverables. Strong CAD/REVIT skills and IPD experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in healthcare planning or related field.
• Strong computer skills with AutoCAD/REVIT; familiarity with SketchUp, Newforma, dRofus.
• Architecture/Interior Design degree; PA licensure preferred.
• Experience with IPD/Alternate Project Delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee space allocations aligned with campus goals and strategic plans.
• Direct internal architects, engineers, and consultants as needed.
• Develop space programs, fit plans and scopes of work.
• Coordinate strategy with AHN executive leadership and city/doH reps.
• Plan, organize, staff, and oversee daily department operations.
• Develop and maintain space planning standards and specs.
• Support feasibility studies and business agreements with Real estate.
• Handle staff development, performance and productivity.
