Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is seeking a Sous Chef to lead the Culinary Department for a healthcare facility. You will supervise, prepare, and cook dishes, develop daily menus, and partner with the Executive Chef to manage costs and ordering.

This role offers an energetic, entrepreneurial culinary professional the chance to make an impact in patient and staff dining. You will help plan menus, support catering events, and implement new culinary programs in alignment with client

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience in culinary/kitchen leadership.
• Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience is preferred.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience is highly desirable.
• Must be computer literate; familiarity with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the supervision, preparation, and cooking of various food items.
• Develop daily menu items and assist with ordering and cost controls.
• Supervise hourly associates and collaborate with Executive Chef on new menus.
• Produce and execute catering events and roll out culinary programs with marketing.
