Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a Sous Chef for West Chester, OH, to oversee the culinary department and assist in menu development and supervision. This role supports the Executive Chef and collaborates on catering and new program implementations.

The position emphasizes cost control, high-volume operations, and front-line leadership, with opportunities to contribute to client satisfaction and menu innovation.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Catering experience is a plus.
• High-volume, complex foodservice operations experience desired.
• Institutional and batch cooking experience helpful.
• Knowledge of food trends, production, sanitation, and cost controls.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and email.
• Commitment to client satisfaction programs.
• ServSafe certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Executive Chef with cost controls and expenditures.
• Assists with planning and creating menus.
• Produces and executes catering events.
• Rolls out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary team.
