Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking contingent team members in a part-time, rotating shift role across satellite locations within the region. The position requires a high school diploma and candidate with healthcare experience such as Patient Care Technician, EMT or Paramedic is preferred.

Strong communication, teamwork and adaptability are essential. Responsibilities include simulation setup, operating educational simulations, post-simulation debriefs, and collaborative process improvement.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Patient Care Technician, EMT, Paramedic, direct patient care or healthcare simulation experience desired.
• Ability to work at all satellite locations throughout the region as needed.
• Ability to problem solve and work collaboratively in a dynamic team setting where priorities are subject to change.
• Ability to provide and accept feedback related to team and individual performance.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally under pressure.
• Ability to work as part of an ad-hoc team. Willingness to be flexible in an environment subject to change.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and tests simulation equipment and materials per course materials; briefs facilitators and learners; ensures all members are signed in.
• Operates simulation-based education and records/streams; manages simulated vitals and assists with scenario interventions.
• Collaborates with faculty on learner performance; assists with video debrief and post-simulation activities; prepares lab for next scenario.
• Provides timely feedback to team members and participates in process improvement initiatives.
• Maintains a clean, organized work environment and assists with basic lab maintenance.
• Participates in community outreach, tours and demonstrations; supports safety and confidentiality policy.
