Job summary

Trinity Health MI is seeking a dedicated Simulation Technician to support procedural and educational simulations across satellite locations in Michigan. You will set up and test simulation and AV equipment, assist with moulage, brief facilitators, and ensure patient consent procedures are followed.

You will operate simulations, monitor learner actions, adapt to learner needs, and troubleshoot scenarios under facilitator guidance.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 3 years of Patient Care Technician/EMT/Paramedic or 1 year healthcare simulation experience desired.
• Willingness to cover evenings and travel to satellite locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pre-simulation setup and testing of simulation and AV equipment; assist with props and moulage; coordinate with facilitators.
• Execute simulation-based education; monitor learner actions and provide troubleshooting and scenario interventions.
• Post-simulation debrief; collect consents and paperwork; assist with video debrief and lab reset.
• Collaborate to improve processes; provide feedback to team and management on cost, education strategies and improvements.
• Maintain clean, organized work environment and restock supplies.
• Participate in community outreach and tours; maintain patient confidentiality and uphold Trinity Health values.
