Job summary

Regis University in Denver, CO is seeking a part-time Simulation Assistant to support faculty and students in the Simulation Center. The SA will enact scripts, set up simulations, and operate simulators under supervision of the Lab Manager.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree in health care is preferred. Availability to work varied hours and attend to scheduling needs is important. This is a temporary, benefits-eligible role with a pay rate of $19.29 per hour.

• Willingness to be flexible with scheduling and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Role play a patient with medical or other conditions in student interactions.
• Set up of initial simulation state.
• Use technology to enact a simulation script throughout a scenario.
• Provide feedback to students under faculty direction.
• Participate in upkeep of the Simulation Center and simulators.
• Offer quality-improvement feedback to enhance learning and efficiency.
