Job summary

Regis University in Denver seeks part-time Simulation Assistants to support nursing simulations. You will enact faculty-provided scripts, set up simulation states, and operate equipment under supervision. Feedback to students on their interactions will help guide learning during simulated scenarios in the lab.

Flexibility with scheduling is required as shifts vary. Prior health care exposure is preferred, and a bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in health care or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with others respectfully.

Responsibilities

• Follows scripted simulation scenarios including role playing a patient with medical conditions.
• Set up of initial simulation state and operate equipment to enact scripts.
• Under supervision, provide feedback to students on interactions and performance.
• Contribute to upkeep of the Simulation Center and simulators to ensure readiness.
• Offer feedback for quality improvements to enhance learning efficiency.

Position Type:TemporaryScheduled Weekly Hours:0Requested Start Date for this Position:11/09/2026 - 20 days to goCampus Location:Northwest Denver CampusFull-time or Part-time:Part timeJob Summary:Simulation Assistants (SAs) work under the supervision of the Simulation Lab Manager to enact a simulation script provided by faculty during student simulation activities.Candidates that are under 18 years of age on the date of hire will be required to provide a guardian waiver prior to beginning employment.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Follows scripted simulation scenarios which may include:Role play of a patient with medical or other conditions in an interaction with studentsSet up of initial simulation stateUse technology to enact a simulation script throughout a simulation scenarioUnder direction of faculty, may provide feedback directly to students regarding selected aspects of student interaction.Participate in and contributes to the upkeep of the Simulation Center and simulators.Provide feedback to the Simulation Manager and Associate Dean and/or nursing faculty regarding quality improvements that may improve student learning and/or efficiency in the operation of the simulation lab.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to consistently simulate a case scenario in a standardized manner.
