State of Oregon – Oregon Department of Corrections seeks a Medical Support Staff Supervisor, Support Service Supervisor 3 (Ontario) at Snake River Correctional Institute in Ontario, OR. You will support the Medical Services Manager and oversee daily non-medical operations to facilitate health care delivery within the facility.

You will recruit and train non-medical staff, supervise personnel, participate in executive meetings, and help manage program performance and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Three years of office management or supervisory experience over staff, including hiring, training, assigning work and performance appraisals.
• Experience supervising multiple support functions is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Medical Services Manager in directing the non-medical operations of the program.
• Recruit, interview, select, and orient non-medical staff to support health care delivery.
• Supervise non-medical employees and contract/agency personnel to ensure work aligns with assignments.
