The Oregon Department of Corrections is seeking a Medical Support Staff Supervisor, Support Service Supervisor 3 (Ontario) at Snake River Correctional Institute – Ontario, OR. This leadership role supports the Medical Services Manager by directing the non-medical operations of the program and coordinating health care delivery within the facility.

You will recruit and supervise non-medical staff and contract providers, review performance, and participate in quality improvement.

Formación

• Three years of office management or supervisory experience including hiring, training, and performance appraisals.
• One year of experience must include supervision over multiple support functions.
• Ability to recruit, interview, and orient non-medical staff.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Medical Services Manager in directing non-medical aspects of the program and daily operations.
• Recruit, interview, select, and orient non-medical personnel to assist health care delivery.
• Supervise non-medical employees and contract providers to ensure assigned work is performed appropriately.
• Collect, review and evaluate statistics to establish service delivery norms and propose quality improvements.
• Schedule required training and facilitate continuing professional education for staff.
• Manage fiscal resources, review bills, and monitor expenditures related to health services.
