Lemontree Healthcare seeks a vigilant Security Professional for Coral Gables Hospital in Coral Gables, FL. This full-time role (40 hours) covers patrols, surveillance monitoring, emergency response, and maintaining calm, professional conduct to protect staff, patients, and visitors.

Key duties include access control, incident reporting, safety checks, and assisting with evacuations. Required: high school diploma and security officer certification; healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or customer service preferred but not required.
• Certifications: Security officer certification required; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, both inside and outside.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms, respond to alerts.
• Identify and report security risks, hazards, and violations; escalate as needed.
• Manage access control and visitor/vendor checks; issue visitor badges.
• Respond to emergencies and assist evacuations.
• Provide courteous assistance to staff, patients, and visitors.
• Maintain detailed incident records and complete daily logs.
• Prepare written incident reports for supervisors.
• Adhere to security protocols and participate in safety trainings.
