Job summary

Lemontree Healthcare is seeking a Security Professional for Florida Medical Center in Lauderdale Lakes, FL to cover 2:00pm–10:30pm shifts. The role focuses on protecting staff, patients and visitors while maintaining a calm, professional presence.

You will conduct patrols, monitor surveillance, control access, respond to emergencies and document incidents. Previous healthcare or security experience is preferred; security certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Security officer certification required.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to ensure security of buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms, responding to alerts and incidents as needed.
• Identify and report security risks, hazards, and violations for quick resolution or escalation.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, conduct visitor checks and issue badges.
• Respond to emergencies such as fire alarms or medical incidents and assist with evacuations.
• Provide courteous staff, patient, and visitor assistance and maintain a visible security presence.
• Maintain detailed incident logs and prepare written reports for supervisors.
